Founded in Beverly Hills by Sidney Altmans, it has catered to the rich and famous since its beginnings as a showroom in 1975. By 1990, Altmans had left the retail business entirely to focus on manufacturing luxury bathroom and kitchen fixtures with original designs. Since then, many other companies have entered the decorative plumbing market.

But Altmans has remained true to its mission, never forgetting its commitment to quality, innovation and customer service.
